15/1/2025 – Steve returns briefly to Hampshire to give his first invited lecture of the year, at the Defence Science and Technology Laboratory (DSTL). Great visit with time for night walk around Salisbury cathedral!

28/11/2024 – Steve gives a Plenary lecture at the New Zealand Institute of Chemistry Conference, hosted at the University of Otago in Dunedin, New Zealand. There were some excellent presentations covering a diverse range of research topics across all fields of chemical science.

30/9/2024 – Four new members join the Goldup Lab today. Joshua Singleton, Julia Szymanska and Alistair Wilson join as first-year PhD students, while Ellie Harding joins as an MSci student. Welcome to the group everyone!

29/9/2024 – Steve gives a Plenary lecture at the 13th International Symposium on Nano & Supramolecular Chemistry. It was hosted at the Hotel Flamingo in Santa Margherita di Pula, Sardinia, and lived up to its name!

18/8/2024 – ICPOC
18/8/2024 to 22/8/2024 – Steve attends the 26th IUPAC ICPOC in Beijing, where he delivers a Keynote lecture. He also gives an Invited lecture at the Angewandte Advances Forum, held in parallel at the ICPOC. There was just enough time before sessions for a quick run!

16/8/2024 – Professors Hai-Bo Yang and Liang Zhang welcome Steve to the East China Normal University, Shanghai, where he gives an invited lecture at the Department of Chemistry, before travelling on to the ICPOC in Beijing.
