13/8/2024 – Steve visits Southeast University, Nanjing, to give an invited lecture and talk all things Chemistry with Professor Quan Li’s group, including former Goldup Lab member Shu Zhang!

12/8/2024 – Steve flies to China to deliver a series of lectures in Nanjing and Shanghai, before giving two presentations at the 26th IUPAC International Conference on Physical Organic Chemistry (ICPOC) in Beijing.

Nick Watson visits
15/7/2024 – A flying visit to the Goldup Lab for Nick Watson, a PhD student in Professor Anna Slater’s group at the University of Liverpool. Nick’s visiting for 1 week as part of our collaboration with Anna on flow chemistry to see how we make rotaxanes the old fashioned way!

EuChemS 2024
7/7/2024 – Steve travels to Dublin, Ireland, to give an invited lecture at the 9th EuChemS Chemistry Congress in the Supramolecular Chemistry Theme. A packed programme and busy schedule meant there was only time for a passing visit to the Guinness brewery!
